The countdown to Sacramento Fashion Week (SacFW) begins. My 16-year-old daughter, Tyra Simone, will be walking the runway modeling designs by Samantha Wall-Laidler and Designer Zenzele Nuru. Partnered with Stylist, MarioB, they are preparing a runway experience to remember.
Today’s Rehearsal
The rehearsal leading up to the show is all about being fitted and styled in flattering custom outfits, practicing model walk and poses to the music, as well as going over the show lineup from beginning to end.Rehearsal was held in room facility on the beautiful campus of California State University Sacramento (Sac State). Being that I completed the last three semesters of my undergraduate studies on this campus, I always look forward to coming back to see the beautiful enhancements.Sac State Campus

While my daughter is walking (modeling) in Saturday’s show, there are various makeup, beauty, modeling workshops being held later in the week for all those interested.Welp, there will be more details after the show, but just wanted to share some behind the scenes leading up to this weekend.
